Sessions are 50 minutes long and we usually meet at the same time each week. We can meet in-person in Dublin 2 (Merrion Square) or online via Zoom.
Fees are €70 per session and I reserve a limited number of low-cost appointments for psychotherapy students or those with restricted access to income.
If you need to cancel an appointment, I ask that you give as much notice as possible so that your session time can be filled for that week. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are fully chargeable.

I offer online or in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays, and have some additional online availability during the week. I do not offer weekend appointments. Availability can change so it’s worth checking in to see what spots are free.

Absolutely. Everything stays between us, with a few exceptions – if your file is subpoenaed by court; if you told me you were going to harm yourself or someone else; or if you indicated a child is being harmed. The above instances will be discussed with you beforehand wherever possible.
I attend regular supervision in line with accreditation standards and may review aspects of my clinical work in a confidential manner, ensuring that all identifying information is protected.

No, you can just contact me directly to schedule an appointment.

Yes, depending on your policy. As an accredited psychotherapist with IAHIP and ICP, I am affiliated with most major healthcare providers including Laya Healthcare, Irish Life and VHI. I recommend that you refer to your policy or contact your healthcare provider directly to ensure that your plan covers counselling and psychotherapy.

A good ending is an important part of the therapeutic process. When you begin thinking about ending or taking an extended break, it can be helpful to bring this into our sessions so that we can explore the ending and how you can move forward with the tools, insights and resources you have developed. Some clients prefer to end slowly which can be done over a number of weeks or months, either by meeting less frequently or moving to fortnightly sessions. For this reason, I ask for at least three weeks’ notice before intending to finish.
If you have a question that is not answered here, feel free to contact me.
I also offer a free 20 minute introductory session (in-person, video or telephone call) where I can answer any questions that you may have, you can get a sense of how I work and we can see if we are a good fit to work together.
