My approach to therapy is…

… ..pragmatic, humanistic, psychodynamic, attachment-focused and research-based.  As an integrative therapist, I draw from different therapeutic modalities depending on the client and their circumstances, allowing me to work in a flexible and responsive way.  I also integrate neuroscience, sensorimotor and body-based psychotherapy approaches as part of psychoeducation.  These modalities can help clients understand what’s happening in their nervous system, make sense of their emotional experiences and develop practical tools and internal resources that can ease feelings of anxiety and overwhelm.

I believe deeply in the therapeutic process and in each person’s capacity for personal growth and change when they are met with the right conditions, tools and support.  My aim is to collaboratively create a therapeutic space that is safe, supportive and honest where clients can explore their experiences and develop greater insight and self-awareness.

This process deepens clients’ self-understanding, emotional expression and effective communication, enriching the relationship they have with themselves and others.  Ultimately, this approach supports the development of a solid internal foundation from which clients can move forward on their own path in life in an authentic and meaningful way, with greater clarity, ease and empowerment.
